The USS Kingfisher was the starship assigned to protect Starbase 13 (Venture Station) by Starfleet Command.
History
The USS Kingfisher was constructed at Riverside Shipyards from 2253-2257, and was brought to Starbase 13 during its construction phase. Currently it is the only starship permanently attached to the station.
